"From here and from the Gaza Strip, we publish to you the latest developments in the country," with this phrase and others, the boy Abdul Rahman Battah, or "Abboud" – as he calls himself on social media platforms – became famous among the people of Gaza.

Abboud is best known for his videos documenting the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip in a satirical manner, and in other clips he narrates the details of the daily life of the people of Gaza in a humorous way and with a beautiful smile.

Abboud, with his beautiful local dialect and simple means, has been transmitting from his "studio", as he calls it, the continuous Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip, since the battle of the Al-Aqsa flood launched by the Palestinian resistance led by the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, on October 7.

In other clips, the journalist documented the destruction caused by the shelling on different areas of Gaza.

Abboud's distinctive style of reporting the tragic events and conditions experienced by the people of Gaza attracted the pioneers of communication platforms in the Arab world. He has more than one million followers on his Instagram page.
